Michael was called to the bar in 2019 after finishing his articles with Filkow Law.
At Filkow Law, Michael’s practice includes representation on traffic tickets, driving prohibitions, ICBC issues, and criminal matters. Michael is focused on resolving client issues favourably, practically, and expeditiously.
Michael obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of British Columbia, while being active in several student leadership organizations. Michael pursued his law degree at Thompson Rivers University in Kamloops.
In his spare time, Michael plays goalkeeper in recreational soccer leagues. He also enjoys playing rhythm guitar, bass guitar and backup vocals for his band from law school.

I was facing a possible suspension of my driver's license, but Michael was very diligent and did a phenomenal job of getting favourable outcomes on all my offences. I no longer face suspension and I have Michael to thank for it. Lastly, they are very fair and reasonable with the fees that they charge and always hold their client's best interest in mind.
